In this interactive session, you will learn the basics and benefits of meditation and how to incorporate this ancient practice into your daily life. The course also includes a 20-minute guided silent mantra-based meditation + two subsequent Community Meditations at Satsang House to help support your practice. Disconnect and restore.


Community Meditation Class 

Weekly 20-minute Guided Community Meditation

Join us for a weekly guided 20-minute mantra-based community meditation. We’ll begin by connecting with one another over tea and snacks prior to settling in for meditation. Share in the benefits of meditation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Satsang House and garner the support you need to deepen and sustain your practice. Dress cozy and bring a friend! All are welcome!

Dāna (Devanagari: दान) is a Sanskrit and Pali word that connotes the virtue of generosity, charity or giving of alms in Indian philosophies. Dāna is the practice of cultivating generosity. As an opportunity to practice dana, an optional $10-$20 donation is welcomed and appreciated. All donations support the International Campaign for Tibet.


Mindful Mondays 

1 hour 30 minutes @ $25.00

Join us for a beautiful gathering to share in the deeper benefits of meditation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Satsang House. We'll begin with a 20-minute silent mediation followed by discussion based around how meditation is not just something to do with your “fifteen minutes of free time” on an app you download. We’ll delve a bit deeper into how meditation can illuminate the habitual stories and patterns of behavior we each have in our lives. We’ll use ancient traditions and texts as the thought-provoking fodder for our meetings. These enriching discussions will help us take meditation to its deeper level of allowing ourselves to pinpoint the stories we tell ourselves and see how we continue to be entangled in the beliefs of these stories. We’ll explore how a dedicated meditation practice is necessary to solidify the changes that come from seeing our stories as stories and being able to carry those realizations off the cushion and into our daily lives - the true benefit of meditation.

Tea and snacks will be served. Dress cozy and feel free to bring a friend! All are welcome! Come as often as you'd like.

Introduction to Meditation: Basics and Benefits

This course will include the basics and benefits of meditation and how to incorporate this ancient practice into your daily life for the benefit of stress reduction but for far more than simply that.

Discover the ancient practice of meditation and how it isn’t simply the West’s version of “mindfulness” done for a few minutes and checked off of your daily “to do list” as one more thing in your busy day. Encounter and deepen your practice with the proper instruction to develop a lifetime meditation practice that will enrich and enhance every aspect of your daily life.

Join Certified Meditation and Life Coach Maggie Kelly for this informative and engaging introduction to meditation. Maggie has over twelve years of meditation experience to share with you and has personally instructed hundreds toward a successful meditation practice.

This course also includes a 20-minute guided silent mantra-based meditation.

Private Spiritual Book Study and Meditation

Immerse yourself in enlightening readings and deepen your spiritual awakening and practice. Share your interpretation of readings from some of the most respected teachers and spiritual leaders of our time. Some of the books chosen are written by Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Jack Kornfield, Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chodram among others. Tea and snacks will be served. Weekly meetings include a 20-minute guided meditation.


Personalized Mantra Meditation Course - Session 1 

2 hours @ $397.00*

This two-part course introduces you to how meditation can help you break free of conditioned patterns of behavior that constrict you, eliminate chronic stress - the underlying cause of illness, insomnia, anxiety, addiction. You will receive your personal mantra calculated from your birth place, time and date and instructed how to use it. This session will include a 30-minute guided meditation using your new personalized mantra.

Personalized Mantra Meditation Course - Session 2 

3 hours

This is the second part of the Satsang House signature course. After a few days, we’ll reconnect to discuss the tips, tools and tricks on incorporating this ancient practice in to your daily life. We'll delve into the seven states of higher consciousness that can be achieved with regular meditation. You will be instructed in the practice of recapitulation and intention-setting and leave you with a foundation for a successful meditation practice. This session also includes a 30-minute guided meditation using your new personalized mantra.

With the completion of this two-part course, you will be well on your way to establishing a lifelong meditation practice! Consider joining us weekly for Community Meditation for support with your practice.
